Got Steam? Got no money? You've got no problem!. We've taken a look at the best and worst of the free single-player games (and a couple of the alone demos) to be had on the Steam network.

Is it me or does it seem like the Steam Store is doing their best effort to hide the free steam games deep in the abyss, e.g. you have to scroll through the full game list to find them. Steam’s own free stuff page is filled with- you guessed it- demos. I’m not including here any hack or illegal ways to get Steam games, only the truly legal and completely free steam games in this list. So here’s a list of free games WITH demos, so you don’t have to waste precious time looking.
